Errors occur from time to time and if a product has been incorrectly priced we will contact you to confirm the correct price before proceeding.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online store, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

Paying

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch and Delta. If you wish to pay by American Express or Diners Card, please call on +44(0) 207 278 8480. We cannot accept Visa Electron on website orders. Your account will be debited as soon as availablility of the product could be confirmed. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

Shipping And Handling

Items posted to a UK will be sent by Royal Mail Insured and Signed For. Items posted overseas will be by International Signed For delivery. There will be a charge of £5.60 for all orders inside the UK and £7.50 to overseas. Low value items to a UK address, may use Standard Recorded Delivery at a charge of £3.00. Contact Lenses are delivered direct from the supplier to UK addresses and there is no charge for delivery.

However, items weighing more than 500g may be subject to an extra postage charge. This will usually only apply to bulk deliveries, but we will contact you if this is the case.

Deliveries overseas can ONLY be delivered to the billing address

We will contact you if there is going to be any delay with your order. Most contact lenses will be available in small temporary supplies and we will try to send such a supply at no charge.

Credit Card Security

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

The software, Actinic used in our site has adopted a 128 bit Safer key, which gives a reasonable performance whilst being several orders of magnitude beyond where brute force methods could break the encryption. SSL offers generally lower levels. To put things in context, each additional bit of key space takes twice as long to break. So a 41 bit key is twice as strong as a 40 bit key. The 128 bit key used in Actinic products is 4,722,366,482,869,645,213,696 times as strong as an SSL 56 bit key.

If your order is delivered and it is not what you expected and still wish to return the order, there will be a 20% handling and re-stocking charge on the original sale price.
