MYeyes test

GOOD CLICK This could be the beginning of a life with good vision and healthy eyes. You can be guided, by an eye-consultant, to avoid the eye hazards that occur only too regularly. Eye-consultants include ophthalmologists, who are generally eye-surgeons, ophthalmic medical practitioners, who are medically qualified and optometrists, also called ophthalmic opticians. The RNIB can provide information and statistics about preventable blindness. MOORFIELDS_EYE_HOSPITAL will give an account of the common eye conditions likely to be detectable by an eye-practitioner. Familiar examples include cataract, glaucoma and macular degeneration. An examination of the eye is particularly important in the management of DIABETES.

An eye consultation will establish any relevant eye or general medical history, any ocular symptoms, such as persistent headache or sore eyes. Your VISION and visual needs will be investigated. YOUR_FIELD_OF_VISION will be tested as well as your eye-pressures. A look inside your eyes will indicate the health of the LENS and RETINA.

Information collected during the investigation will determine the appropriate course of action. In most cases this will lead to either no further action until the next eye-check or to the fun of a new pair of specs and/or contact lenses. In some cases it may lead to further medical investigation.
