Our Zeiss GDx Vcc Nerve Fibre Analyser is a fabulous tool for measuring the retinal nerve fibre layer thickness around the optic nerve. This is the area which is affected by Glaucoma and therefore this tool allows us to help diagnose Glaucoma earlier than traditional methods. We charge £25 for this service. The machine is one side of the assessment, the interpretation by the practitioner is the other.
